David has over 30 years of experience as a financial advisor and consumer-oriented financial advocate. He is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) and holds CLTC® Certification for Long-Term Care.
Specializing in retirement planning, navigating the sometimes complex financial and healthcare needs of individuals who are aging alone, and specifically, aging LGBTQ+ individuals who don't have a strong support network are at the forefront of his work.
In addition to serving his financial clients, David is the Founder of The Solo Ager™ and La Vida Pride online communities that offer financial education and provide aging support resources.
Recognized for his financial acumen and client-advocacy work, David has been featured on PBS's Nightly Business Report, Q News Tonight LGBTQ+ Money Talks, and on NBC Miami where his stories about a financial scam won a local Emmy. He has been interviewed within the pages of The Washington Post, The Miami Herald, South Florida Business Journal, and South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
David holds life, health, and annuity insurance licenses as well as series 6, 22, 52 62, 63, and 65 securities registrations, and has an MBA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is fluent in Spanish.
